Ginny Peirce — Hidden in His Heart

My name is Ginny (Virginia Lynn Skinner), and my life has been a long, honest conversation with God. I’ve walked through broken seasons, near-misses, quiet miracles, and the kind of everyday moments where you only see His hand clearly when you look back.

Hidden in His Heart is my first book in a growing series of testimonies and reflections. It was written slowly, with tears, laughter, and a deep desire to tell the truth about how faithful God really is — even when we don’t always understand what He’s doing at the time.

I write for the ones who feel overlooked, carried, or quietly protected without always knowing why. If you’ve ever thought, “I shouldn’t even be here, but I am,” then these stories are for you. My prayer is that as you read, you’ll recognize the Lord’s fingerprints on your own life too.

I’m a mom, a grandmother, and a woman who has made plenty of mistakes and yet has been met over and over again by mercy. I love simple things — coffee at my desk, worship music in the background, and quiet mornings with my Bible open, listening for His voice.

This website is a little corner of the internet set apart for Scripture, prayer, and testimony. You are welcome here. Take your time, breathe, and let His peace settle over you as you read.

“The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O LORD, endures forever.” — Psalm 138:8

Thank you for taking a moment to stop by my author page. It truly means something to me. I’m just a woman who loves the Lord, leans on His grace, and writes out of the life I’ve lived with Him.

My books grew out of a long conversation with God — sometimes whispered, sometimes cried out, sometimes full of peace. I write simply and honestly, the same way I talk, because I believe God meets us in the everyday places… in the quiet moments, the messy seasons, the places where we need Him most.

If even one sentence in these pages draws you closer to His heart, brings you comfort, or reminds you that you’re not walking alone, then all the writing has been worth it.

I’m grateful you’re here. I pray the Lord blesses you, strengthens you, and surrounds you with His presence as you read.
